"Your food is INCREDIBLE! I'm so grateful that I can eat everything. What a delight that almost everything is dairy-free. If you had a cookbook, I would buy it! I look forward to our meals everyday! Thank you!"

"Thank you so much for your delicious food - I'm not usually a "foodie" and so the amount of pleasure your meals gave me was a REAL testimony to your culinary skills."

Cheryl  Casden  is  a  talented  chef  who  specializes  in  creating  plant-based  meals  that  are  both  tasty  and  good  for  your  health.  She  carefully  selects  fresh  ingredients  and  combines  them  in  creative  ways  to  produce  dishes  that  are  not  only  delicious but  also  nutritious.  Cheryl's  meals  are  often  featured  at  retreats  where  people  can  enjoy  her  culinary  creations  while  nourishing  their  minds, bodies and spirits.  Her  passion  for  plant-based  cooking  shines  through  in  every  dish  she  prepares,  making  her  a  sought-after  chef  for  those  looking  to  eat  well  and  feel  good.

Cheryl currently runs her own on-site catering business, Iron Temple Catering and is the new chef at the The Southwest Sanctuary Retreat Center aka The Chi Center, formerly the Vista Clara Ranch Spa Resort. This beautiful 150-acre resort is located 20 minutes south of Santa Fe in Galisteo, NM. With breathtaking views of New Mexico’s landscape, the dazzling sunsets over the western mountains, and vast darkness of the enormous night sky, healing emerges as mind and spirit connect. Workshops are held in the beautiful circular building which replicates traditional ceremonial kivas, set into the earth. The main house features six fireplaces and the grounds include two labyrinths, outdoor fireplaces, fountains, a pond with a waterfall and paths for reflection and hiking. This is a place where heaven and earth truly meet within you and around you.
