Cheryl Casden Carpenter is a multi-disciplinary artist, educator and plant-based chef from Chicago, IL, known for her versatile approach to creativity. Drawing inspiration from her new home in the southwest. Her new mixed media works on paper and canves use sumi ink, chalk pastel and acrylics to blend abstract expression and local bird beings to represent her nature meditation practice of "soft fascination" - a technology free walk in nature to replenish her energy from overstimulation. With a BFA from Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design, Cheryl has an unique artistic voice.
